About Me
I'm Angel, a UI/UX designer and I build my own designs.
I'm based in Manila, working remotely with startups in Dubai and beyond.
Four years. Four industries. Fifty-plus live products shipped. I've spent my career as the sole designer in fast-moving startups, which means I don't just design; I build, QA, and deploy. I was promoted to Creative Manager before my first year ended, not because I followed the process, but because I closed the loop every single time.
My Philosophy
Good design takes time,
and working with me saves it.
What I Do
I sit at the intersection of design and AI-assisted code. Nothing gets lost in translation between Figma and production because I own both the decisions and the implementation.
My work spans conference platforms, specialty e-commerce, B2B enterprise dashboards, property investment sites, real-estate platforms, and mobile applications. The industry changes. The standard doesn't. Every project gets structured discovery, validated user flows, and pixel-level execution and delivered end-to-end, from brief to live URL.
How I Think
Working alone without a design team taught me that speed without quality is just noise.
The shift from pure Figma to design-plus-code changed how I make decisions. When you know you'll be the one building it, you stop designing things that look good in a presentation and start designing things that survive a browser. That discipline shows up in everything I ship.
I don't design to impress other designers. I design to solve the problem the brief actually asked about, then I move on to the next one.

Creative Manager & UI/UX Designer

Promoted within the first year. Now setting the quality standard across all client projects — no product ships without passing my QA. Still designing and building end-to-end across conference platforms, e-commerce, B2B dashboards, and brand identities from scratch.
2023 – 2024
UI/UX Designer & Web Developer
APEX · Tokyo, Japan
Sole designer on fast-turnaround client projects. Owned the full pipeline from discovery through to deployment. Developed and maintained live web products, driving measurable results in traffic and sales growth.
2022 – 2022
Web Developer & SEO Specialist
HYC Digital · Manila, Philippines
First professional role. Built and launched a web product from scratch using WordPress. Grew organic traffic by 50% in four months through SEO strategy and content. Learned to move fast, deliver without supervision, and measure what matters.

The work that excites me: products that actually ship, teams that move fast, and problems worth solving. What I bring is full-stack design execution from research to live deployment, no handoff required. You point me at a problem. I come back with something already built.
Tools & Stack
The stack I reach for depending on what the project needs.
Everything starts in Figma where wireframes, hi-fi design, prototypes, and component libraries all live. Adobe Illustrator comes in when I need precision on vector assets or icon refinements. For the build, I work in Windsurf and Kiro, AI-assisted IDEs that let me move fast without sacrificing code quality. Everything deploys through Vercel with GitHub handling version control. On the research and planning side, Notion keeps projects organized, Gemini and Claude support ideation and content structuring when I need to move quickly through copy or problem-solving. I also carry legacy experience with Google Analytics, Search Console, Ahrefs, and SEMrush from my earlier SEO work.
Beyond the Screen
I'm fascinated by the scale of the universe, the kind of questions that make you feel small in a good way. When I'm not designing, I'm people-watching at an open park or hunting for the best food in whatever city I'm in. It keeps me grounded and curious, which is exactly the energy I bring to work.
